HomeFree was awesome, the rest less so.
First I’ll say that when HomeFree finally sang it was the epic-ness I’ve come to expect. The problems were the venue itself, the additional time taken by other singers we didn’t come for, and getting shushed then sneezed on by the old lady in front of us. That last one wasn’t HomeFree or Venue’s fault of course.
Venue problems related to their closure of exit door bathrooms at the end of the concert. You know when you’ve been holding it in and have to go really bad? Yeah bathrooms closed for no reason. Dumb move, many people were understandably annoyed.
Additional singers made the show last longer than usual and it also meant much less Christmas theme, which is the main point of the show. I miss when their Christmas show was actually Christmas themed. The added singers were ok, though their 4 song CDs were a rip-off. But again, everyone was there for HomeFree.
